AB Bank PLC. recently handed over a cheque of Tk. 50,000 to Mr. Md. Saif Ullah (nominee of the deceased) the family member of a “Shampurna” account holder of AB Bank. This is under life insurance coverage provided by GD Assist Limited – a subsidiary of Green Delta Insurance.

“Shampurna” is a specialized savings account for women, offering attractive interest rate along with complimentary life insurance. The product has free insurance coverage against natural and accidental death.
