AB Bank PLC. has recently arranged a closing ceremony of a month-long `Entrepreneurship Development Program’ in Dhaka. The program was organized under the overall supervision of the SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank, with the finance from ADB, under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) being implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance. After the completion of the program, 26 trainee small entrepreneurs of Dhaka city were awarded with certificates. Additionally, a number of participants availed loans under the open credit disbursement program.

Mr. Iftekhar Enam Awal, DMD, AB Bank graced the program as the chief guest, while Mr. Md. Monzur Hasan, Joint Director, SME & Special Programs Department, Bangladesh Bank attended the program as the special guest.

Mr. Md. Arijul Islam Mollick, Head of SME Banking along with other senior officials of the Bank and the trainees was also present at the event.
