In observance of 7th world autism awareness day and 10th anniversary of Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF); a day long cultural program held on 4th April, 2014 at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) graced by the performance of the autistic students of AWF’s school for special children – ‘Kanan’. Dr. Ranjit Kumar Biswas, Secretary, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Nasima Begum, Secretary, Ministry of Social Welfare, Mr. B.B Shaha Roy, Director of AB Bank Limited, Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan, Chairman, Runner group of companies attended the cultural event as Special Guest. The whole program was sponsored by AB Bank Limited. Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF) also arranged Handicraft Fair where the stuffs are crafted by the autistic students of ‘Kanan’ – special school of Autism Welfare Foundation from 6th April to 13th April, 2014. Shamim Ahmed Chaudhury, President and Managing Director of AB Bank Limited inaugurated the fair as Chief Guest in presence of the members, guardians and students of Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF).
