Shamim Ahmed Chaudhury, President & Managing Director of AB Bank Ltd. has received the Sardar Patel Award 2016 from Her HighnesRajmataShubhanginiRajeGaekwad, Chancellor of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India. The bank won the award for its contribution in the economic development of Bangladesh and India as well.

Professor Parimal H. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor of the University, Sri DT Barki, Green Oscar award winner and SamijiJaganmohan Krishna Dasa, President of AkshayaPatra foundation andAB Bank’sDeputy Managing Director AB Bank Moshiur Rahman Chowdhury were present during the ceremony.

The award was handed over during the inaugural ceremony of the two-day long 1st World Economic and Sports Conference in Vadodara,Gujarat, India.
