Bangladesh Bank formed this fund under the Tk. 60,000 crore stimulus package to revitalize the sluggish economy by generating direct and indirect employment as well as enhancing the capacity of CMSME enterprises to operate at full scale in production, service and business activities through the provision of essential working capital loans/investments.

Under this scheme, generally operational CMSME enterprises that are unable to conduct their production, service or business activities at full capacity due to a shortage of working capital will receive financing facilities at an interest rate of only 9%.
